Unlike traditional law firms, our clients always have direct access to and constant communication with their lawyer, not a paralegal, legal assistant, or case manager. We are able to do this because we believe in quality over quantity and only select a limited number of cases at a time. Every Ramirez Legal Group relationship begins with a free, no-obligation consultation with a lawyer.
We will collect some preliminary information from you through a short interview (by phone, Zoom, or in person) and questionnaires. If need be, we can even come to you!
If you need treatment, whether it be for physical injuries or emotional distress, we will make sure you receive what you need to get better regardless of whether you have health insurance or not.
After obtaining information from you, we will begin searching for and obtaining necessary documentation and evidence, and deal with all relevant insurance companies.
After we obtain the necessary documentation and evidence, and once the extent of your injuries is medically apparent, we will try to settle your case by preparing what’s known as a “settlement demand packet” to the at-fault party and their insurance company.
After the at-fault party and their insurance company receive the settlement demand packet, they will usually either accept your demand as-is, make a counter-offer, or propose going to mediation. If a counter-offer is made or mediation is proposed, we will relay it back to you and get input from you to determine our next move. Typically, we will spend some time negotiating back and forth with the at-fault party or insurance company to get you the largest compensation possible. We will keep you in the loop during this whole process and won’t settle the case unless you are 100% onboard.
If the at-fault party or their insurance company refuses to adequately compensate you, we will then file a lawsuit with the court or demand arbitration, depending on the situation.
